Эллинистическая фигурная серьга с  изображением  Менады ( древне-греч. Μαινάδες «безумствующие». спутница Диониса ) .

Тонкая проработка деталей лица Менады, волос,украшения и венока из плюща.

Greek Hellenistic figural earring depicting a sensitively modeled head of a maenad wearing

an elaborate diadem set with a garnet. At the back, the wire hoop is composed of diagonally

coiled gold wire.   The maenad's face is finely executed with classical features, various hair

ornaments and an ivy wreath.
