LATE ROMAN TERRACOTTA LAMP WITH A RABBIT

Late Roman terracotta lamp depicting a running rabbit. Workshop mark L (lambda) on the underside of the lamp. Traces of burning on the spout. L. 4 1/4" (10.9 cm.) Roman, 4th-6th century AD. Ex German Private Collection, acquired in the 1970s.
