На предлагаемом фрагменте изображена женщина, волосы которой покрыты сеточкой, в ушах серёжки. В руках держит венок, через котрый смотрит несколько комичным образом. Подобные фрагменты известны в собраниях Музея г. Константины (Алжир) и Мюнхене, целая чаша хранится в Майнце. На ней видно, что сидящая на троне женщина одета в короткую тунику и гетры. К ней угрожающе двигаются лев и пантера.Венок может также указать, что женщина будет иметь чудесные победы над зверями - как Феклы. Кроме того, она может быть варварских королева (или пародия на одного) приговорен к смертной казни в ужасных моды (damnatio объявлений bestias). Венок может обозначать, что женщина одержит чудесную победу над зверями - как Св. Фекла. Но она может быть одной из варварских цариц (или изображать оную), приговорённой к смертной казни через раздирание диким зверями(лат. - damnatio ad bestias).

Roman Redware Dish Fragment with Oriental Queen (or Saint Thecla) Looking through Wreath, 350-430 A.D. A woman, who wears a hair covering and earrings, holds up a wreath and looks through it in somewhat comical fashion. The subject is known from fragments in Constantine, Algeria, and Munich, and a complete bowl in Mainz. In the bowl, it can be seen that the woman wears a short tunic and leggings, like an Oriental, and is seated on a throne. A lion and a panther move toward her menacingly. The wreath may well indicate that the woman will have a miraculous triumph over the beasts – like Thecla. Alternatively, she may be a barbarian queen (or a travesty of one) sentenced to death in horrible fashion (damnatio ad bestias). Hayes form 53A?; Atlante, motif 110, p. 172, pl. 86.3.
