The stylized duck is modeled with a half spherical body form and similar shaped wings coming out on either side,

with the ducks head turning backward, as if preening, to close the loop on the earring. A beautiful example of Sumerian

craftsmanship- in gold, no less. H. 1" W. 3/4".
